By law, we are required to say that we make no claims and create all of our products as a curiosity only, and that these products are for entertainment and educational purposes only. By ordering any of our products, you are stating that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you are responsible for yourself, all your actions, and your results.
Solis Illuminatum is not responsible for the mishandling of candles, soaps, herbs, oils, or any other items we offer. By placing an order with Solis Illuminatum, you agree that any order of any products from Solis Illuminatum are for your own personal use and not for resale.
By ordering from Solis Illuminatum you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Solis Illuminatum, you agree not to sue, and acknowledge and voluntarily forever release, discharge, agree to hold harmless Solis Illuminatum from any and all damages, claims, demands, or causes of action that arise out of, or are in any way connected with your transactions, in person or online from Solis Illuminatum, via www.solisillumatum.com, Etsy, and/or all social media platforms, including negligence.
Solis Illuminatum is not responsible for the mishandling of any product we sell. Do not use herbal concoctions if pregnant, lactating, and do not use products with fragrance or essential oils if you have sensitive skin or allergies to plants used. Our products are not intended for use with infants, children, or pets. Please consider when purchasing items with diffuse essential oils in the air that many animals are sensitive to certain essential oils and may become sick. Seek advice from a medical professional should you have any serious, diagnosed medical conditions or are taking prescription medications.
**Use caution when burning anything; never leave a candle or flame of any kind, unattended. **Please use a patch test for any product you intend to use on the body.
We maintain the right to revise and discontinue products at any time. We reserve the right to limit order quantity at any time without notice. Prices and promotions are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any orders we suspect as fraudulent.
SHIPPING
All orders will ship out within 5 business days, most within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise noted or discussed with purchaser.
Please note that buyer will be responsible for verifying Customs regulations for their own location, i.e., import taxes and products that are/aren’t allowed into their province/country/state.
Please make sure your address is correct and that you can accept package deliveries there.
Once the package is in the hands of the shipping carrier, Solis Illuminatum will not be held responsible for slow, undelivered, stolen, misdirected, weather damaged packages or packages you did not pick up. We will do our best to help you locate a lost package, however the buyer understands they are responsible in following up with their local post office or applicable carrier. Please note that some shipments can take longer than past or future orders/longer than expected to reach you. We cannot control the carrier’s timeliness.
RETURNS
All purchases from www.solisilluminatum.com are final. Solis Illuminatum cannot credit, refund or exchange these items due to the nature of the product. Items sent incorrectly, missing, damaged before or during shipment can be refunded or exchanged. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact us.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Due to the nature of the products all sales by Solis Illuminatum and subsidiaries are final. We do not make refunds, exchanges, or returns for items unless the product is defective, damaged in shipment, or the wrong item has been delivered. However, please reach out to the store should you have concerns.
Shipping
All items will be shipped within 1 - 4 business days of purchase. As a small business there may be times or delay and we will do our best to reach out to customers when we anticipate any issues.
Lost Packages
Once packages are in the hands of the shipping carrier, Solis Illuminatum and subsidiaries will not be held responsible for slow, undelivered, stolen, misdirected, or unclaimed packages. We will do our best to help you locate a lost package, however the purchaser understands they are responsible for contacting their local post office and applicable shipping carrier. Should the carrier be found to be responsible for loosing a package Solis Illuminatum will replace items purchased or refund custom products.
Why don’t you sell white sage / palo santo?
The commercialization of palo santo has endangered the sacred tree. While there are companies which claim to be sustainably sourced anyone can make such a claim and we do not have the resources to go out to where the tree is harvested to confirm these claims.
Though white sage, as it is largely farmed, is not endangered its commercialization has made the plant unavailable to many Indigenous practitioners who rightfully should have the most access to the plant. It has also caused many to illegally harvest other endangered species of native North American sage in protected areas, as well as caused an extreme misuse of the term and practice of smudging. The use of white sage bundles in NOT essential to practice any kind of Witchcraft, and while smoke cleansing is found on all continents with a human population smudging is unique and specific to North American Native practice.
But I am Native or wish to support Native growers and businesses.

Will you please make sugar skulls /sugar skull candles / sugar skull art?
No.
But don’t you want to provide that for communities where this is significant?
No. Communities in which the sugar skull is of cultural significance already have many members making more significant, authentic, and contemporary work than members of Solis Illumintum can make as only appreciator of the tradition. Please seek out and patronage such makers.

While we are happy to give the occasional pointer all necessary information is given in item descriptions. We do not give instructions to practitioners as Pagan practices are varied and unique, and we are not your mentors.
