Gefjon - Custom Altar Piece

The patron asked for a custom altar piece of the Scandinavian Goddess Gefjon. It was important for her to have reference to the plow and bull/auroch. As the piece came together it also felt important to give her a build which evoked great bodily strength and stability.

This piece was created by stoneware ceramic and finished with a combination of stains, and stands about 11 inches tall.
